Wes Edens is also now a co-owner of a soccer team in the United Kingdom. Along with Naseef Sawiris, an Egyptian billionaire, he bought Aston Villa Football Club in 2018. Playing in the English Football League Championship, this team is in the second league with hopes of making the Premier League. They’re hoping that goal will be realized at the end of this season.
