According to Crunchbase, Norman Pattiz, PodcastOne Executive Chairman, and Edison Research Vice President Tom Webster publicized the outcome of comprehensive studies obtained from the results of various tests. These are advertising results with five major consumer brands nationally, across five different service and product categories.
There were various findings obtained from the studies. From the study, seven percent of listeners indicated a specific grocery brand as compared to the 60 percent in the post-campaign. Information on a specific message from the campaign concerning an automobile aftermarket product increased by 60 percent in the post-study as compared in the pre-study.
Also, 18 percent of respondents had a very favorable opinion of an automobile product in the pre-study which increased over one-third in the post-study. For more details on the survey, follow this link.
Three studies were conducted by Edison Research on behalf of PodcastOne to test the efficiency of its advertising for five national brands. Surveys of the audiences of various leading podcasts were conducted online before the podcast advertising campaigns. This was done after each brand had run advertisements on the podcast for about four to six weeks.
The outcome of the studies resulted in the conclusion that podcast audiences were interested in brand messages. They were also willing to purchase both the brands and products. Pattiz said that their main focus has been to independently clarify that the podcast format offers improved brand impact as opposed to traditional advertising formats.
