Sheldon Lavin currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of OSI Group, a leading food processing company. Lavin once worked as a director of National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. He holds a degree a Finance and Accounting degree. Sheldon has received a vast array of awards for his business activities. In 1975, the name was changed to OSI Group. With one of the sons retiring and the other selling his interest, Sheldon Lavin became the full owner. The company has currently extended to having over 65 branches working in 17 countries.

Also, Sheldon is the President of OSI International Foods Ltd. In addition, he is a trustee of Rush Medical Center. Sheldon brought OSI Group to international recognition delivering food products to food services and retail brands globally. Lavin has seen OSI Group receive many awards. Also, Sheldon expanded its business to Japan, and in 2015 it expanded to Canada and India. In 2016, Lavin had the company purchase a 200,000 square foot Tyson production plant.
