With an emphasis on compassion, Dr. Sameer Jejurikar has rapidly become one of Dallas’ most sought-after plastic surgeons. Jejurikar went to the University of Michigan where he received his bachelor’s degree and then went to the University of Michigan Medical School where he joined the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He did his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Michigan’s Medical Center as well as pursued a sub-specialty in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Since then, he has worked in different hospitals such as Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, Baylor Surgicare at Ennis, Dallas Day Surgery Center, Forest Park Medical Center, Forest Park Medical Center Frisco, Medical Center of Plano, Pine Creek Medical Center, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.
He also is a part of numerous memberships. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons to name a few of them.
If this experience wasn’t enough, Dr. Jejurikar also focuses on treating those of poorer means. He takes annual trips to Bangladesh to treat impoverished children. This effort is made possible by the Smile Bangladesh organization. Besides that, he also makes an effort to join others on medical missions to those areas that are less fortunate.
This compassion and warm bedside manner were recognized in 2012 where he received the Compassionate Doctor Certification by Patients’ Choice. This is an organization made up of over 100 million patients who score their doctors on bedside manner and is awarded only to a small selection of doctors.
Dr. Jejurikar is capable of performing a range of plastic surgeries. He is especially focused on cosmetic surgeries such as breast augmentation, liposuction, facelifts, reconstructive surgery, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, rhinoplasty, microsurgery, and hand surgery.
